Austrian Ambassador Presents Credentials to President Barrow
President Adama Barrow Thursday received the Letters of Credence of the Austrian Ambassador to The Gambia, H.E Gerlinde Paschinger at a ceremony held at the State House in Banjul.
After her audience with the President, the Ambassador told journalists that her focus will be on reinforcing the cooperation between the two countries in the areas of education, tourism, business, and professional training. Citing the situation with COVID19 globally, the diplomat said it is important to work together in solidarity and help each other.
The President, while congratulating her, assured that the two countries would continue to work together to enhance the already existing ties. He highlighted the support the EU has been rendering to his government for the past years.
